The designer basics symposium is a great way for hand knitting designers to be introduced to a number of topics that are an important part of creating knitting designs. From design concept to pattern writing, from finding your customer to helping your customer find you, this symposium will give you a look into what every designer should know.
The symposium will meet in Asheville, NC at the Cambria Hotel. This is an "info only" event which means you will be on your own for lodging and meals. No worries. In addition to a block of rooms at a special rate at the lovely Haywood Park Hotel, there are plenty of wonderful choices in Asheville.
The Haywood Park Hotel conference rate - $199 for Thursday night, $249 for Friday and Saturday nights.
Includes valet parking and complimentary breakfast. Rate is available until August 4, 2020.
Originally designed as a department store, the rooms at the Haywood Park are large enough to sleep 2-4 people comfortably.
